Bike won’t start red light on and oil light is flashing

Bike won’t start red light on and oil light is flashing

I am having a problem starting my bike. The red light is on next to the neutral light and the oil light is flashing but the bike engine still turns over. does anybody know why this is happening?

Those lights should be on when it's not running.

Start with the basics. What bike is it?

It is a 06 Honda CBR600
