I have my battery tender junior hooked up to a Honda 97 300 EX (i know this is a motorcycle sight, i bought it for my 600RR, and it worked GREAT!)...anyway, the light just turns yellow ( i read on the website it means a bad connection or low "load" which I don't know what a "load" is...

i'm just wondering is it safe to keep it hooked up for a while just to see if it turns red or green? (I am running it from the AC outlet to the aligator hooks on the positive and negative terminals on the battery)
