Default Yoshi pipe to 2006 Cbr600rr...?

I just got a 2006 Cbr600rr, did the oil change at 65mi, put a yoshi rs-5 slip on, have been twisty riding and revving up to about 13,000, breaking it in hard. The problem is that it feels like it is holding back when you get on the throttle...Also, the pipe doesn't go all the way down at the mid pipe, doesn't completely cover the stock header pipe, so there is a little exhaust leak, the clamp on the Yoshi won't go any tighter, is it possible to wrap the pipe there to seal up the leak? Does anyone else have this problem?

I had to modify the bracket attached to the pipe in front of the can. Once I bent it a lttle it let the pipe slide down and seat properly. I also got a new gasket from my dealer as the old one got trashed trying to get it out of the stock pipe. No leaks and the bike runs strong.
