I Have a 2006 F4i when the bike get to about 225 degrees most of the time its starts perfectly fine but once in a while when its hot and you turn it off it won't start back up the charging system is fine but I think I need a new batterywhat do you guys think it is

 

i think you need to charge your old one and have it load tested before you start throwing money at it.

my 06 600rr did the same thing after it sat for a while so i got a new battery and it solved the problem

 

ok, so what's stopping you from the second part of the diagnostic? How did you go about testing the charging system?

our bikes take the same battery the ytz10s no bike shops had any so i had to go to the dealer and mine was 119.00

 

it has done that a few times so the first time I jump started it and after I checked the charging system and it was normal
