Battery Life/Old Fuel
I'm rehabbing my 92 F2 from about a 2 yr storage period. Got a couple questions, looking for opinions.
1) The battery is close to 6 yrs old. Its a Everstart ES-TX9 "Premium " AGM. Charged it up,it tests OK at 101cca against a 120cca spec. Showed 12.74v. Would it be wise to just go ahead and replace it now while the bike is apart due to its age?
2) There was some fuel in the tank and it looks like it has slightly marred the tank liner in a low spot near the petcock feed. The fuel was over a yr old at least. 90 octane ethanol free(all I run) and it had fuel stabilizer in it. I've drained the remainder. of the gas and have fresh gas covering the marred area while the tank is off. I think its going to be ok. I see a white vertical cylinder with an orange frame near the feed port. I guess that's a fuel strainer? Was encouraged seeing the pure white material.
Thanks in advance for any opinions.

To the battery, you can try to use it but I don’t think it will last very long.
for the fuel, drain every bit of the old stuff. Then fill the tank with fresh stuff, then drain that as well. Then use fresh fuel to give it a shot.
