2000 CBR F4 37,000 mi. Choke on, idles for a second then bogs out. Choke off, won't start. I let it sit for a day, topped it off w/ 2 new gallons of gas, same thing. Any ideas?

i dont know how erlevant this will be to your situation, but i had the same problem on my first bike, and rvf400. i found the problem was that the idle cord, you know the adjuster usually at your left knee? that had somehow fallen out, causing the bike to never start, i dont know, just thought it was something. worth a shot

 

i just got done fixing that same thing on my wifes f3 to day. me and my friend when out last night on that and it just started to act like it was out of gas. i pulled everything off today and sprayed some cleaner in the carbs put coil in fix the problem
