Default ??need ideas

So i've removed the headlight assembly on my F4i as i'm turning it into a track bike. I've got a OEM upper fairing that i'm using, and don't want to buy race plastics at this time.

Now that there's no headlights, i want to cover up the hole in the uppers, but am wondering what the best/cheapest way to do this is.

I've got some fiberglass in the garage, but would need the lights (now sold) to make a mold and make a clean block off. I saw some sort of "lens protector" on ebay, but i'm not sure if that would be better than fabbing something myself.

what would u guys use?

thanks

you can get an upper fairing that mounts like stock but doesn't have headlight holes
Pretty sure Cheetah makes them, check ebay

WTH?!?!? that has got to be one of the funniest things i've heard all week!
yea if you have the skills, fiberglass it.
don't forget to rewire/remount or bypass the bank angle sensor.

I'm pretty sure those stick on the headlights themselves not the fairing around the headlights

Tape it off then use massive amounts of Permatex Plastic Weld. Build it up thick enough for strucural integrity. Put something behind it like chicken wire and then paint it.

yeah, they do, but it'd be easier for me to fab brackets for that, than molding and fabbing a block off plate w/ fg or cf (of which i still have a tiny tiny bit).

i'm too cheap to spend 40 bucks on that thing though. at this point, i think what i need is a slightly destroyed headlight lens and a healthy amount of duct tape.
