Default Alternator problem

Battery drained empty when riding. After charging battery noticed that just less than 13 V to battery even with high rpm. When measuring yellow leads to stator with ohmmeter shows less than one ohm between leads and 1.2-1.3 ohm from lead to gnd. After taking off the alternator cover noticed that the roller bearing is broken all the ***** out.

Any ideas how to get the bearing inner part away ?

What else will be broken if bearing fails like this ?

Default RE: Alternator problem

Now have replaced the bearing but still no charge. Is it so that there should be high resistance between yellow wires and gnd ?

Look for the service manual for your bike oin PDF form. It will have the specifications for the stator output and resistance readings. You should also check the wiring to the regulator as well as the regulator itself.
