Default air hose?

on my cbr 600 f2 there are 3 air lines behind the filter box... 2 wrap around to the front of the air box, where does the 3rd one go, does it just run out the front of the bike or does it connect to something?.. the diagrahm just has an arrow pointing forward??

Maybe I misunderstood but I have an F2 and my air box only has 2 tubes that are short and they dont wrap around anything. Is it possible a previous owner tried to get more air by adjusting the airbox... or am i way off?[:-]

i am thinking it just runs out the front.... i was not connected at all when i got the bike so i looked at the diagrahm on the air box and it shows every other hose hooking to something and for that one it just shows it running forward with an arrow pointing toward the front of the bike
