Yes it's bad, it sounds like the front of the engine but when I listen with a screwdriver it seems to be in the clutch area

Would'nt run it again Rob until you've had an investigation ,if the clutch feels as soft as you say, take the cover off and have a look, at least you can ease your mind about that
