Improved my throttle return to idle also. Runs like a dream. Now I just need to get my fairing kit ordered. I changed out all the bearings and repainted the rims. New cables, new sprockets and chain, new rear tire, rebuilt the brake calipers, rebuilt the front forks, put a low milege shock absorber on it. All new fluids. Took the carbs off and went through them. Resynched carbs, recharged k&n air filter. New brake pads, new led brake lights. Can't wait to get it all back together so I can ride the beast. Thanks for all of the advice everyone this is a good forum.

Id Never say Haynes is a bad thing.. once upon a time when it was all you could get quick and cheap.. As waiting months for an $80 actual shop manual to come in was nuts. When a $20 Haynes was selling somewhere today.
But nowadays, you can goto Ebay and get a PDF Factory Shop Manual for Any Bike for 3bucks.. Instantly..
Factory Shop Manuals are written with that specific bike in mind, specs and fixes.
Haynes is written as there is no difference between a CBR and a R1.. Theyre both rice rockets right? So a sportbike isa sportbike and cruiser is cruiser is about how specific it gets, just the specs table changes. Awesome directions on how to change your oil, but aside from the tables in Haynes its mostly worthless to anyone who could do a simple tuneup. When 1st read it thought you were joking.. My Haynes Manual.
But Seriously.. Ebay $3 Actual Honda Shop Manual in PDF or Actual manual is only ~$30 now and can have it in a week. they are written with that make and model in mind, so at least get the PDF.. Guarantee its the best $3 you'll ever spend. Or not.. after all WTF am I and WTF do I know. Hasta
