Let the bike sit for a while, went to crank it and It idle for a while then it shut off, fuel pump not energized, went out the next morning same thing, so I pulled the pump and put alternative power to it and it works, checked all grounds and connecters any Ideas? Bike is perfect very well taken care of 5000 miles garaged kept problem started after it sat with battery disconnected, if anybody has the manual on it, Had it on my harddrive till it crashed, Iam an japanese auto tech by trade so It should not be that hard to diagnose I hope.

 

Kill switch in the run position? Not sure bout the 954, but the F4i has a BAS (bank angle sensor, or tip sensor) that when tripped or faulty (or unhooked) won't let the pump prime.

start with the simple stuff first, have the battery tested

 

Found the problem guys, Somebody had the frame powdercoated before me and didnt hang the fuelpump relay and it got corosion in the terminals from water sitting it from washing it.
