Default 93 CBR f2 Cranks but won't start.

Hey Guys and Gals. Im trying to help a friend get his bike running again. Tuned up last sept. was running great. Well its a 93 CBR F2. New plugs again today. Fresh Battery fully charged, cranks but wont start. Check fuel Res. lever, its on fuel. Checked all obvious things, but like I said, Cranks but won't start. any suggestions?

If the only thing you changed was the plugs, I would check the plug wires first to make sure they are in the proper order. The wires are numbered 1-4, with plug #1 going on the left cylinder as sitting on the bike. If the plug wires are correct, pull a spark plug wire off a plug and stick it on an old plug. Lay it on the engine and crank it. If it's firing, then try spraying some starting fluid in the intake. If it starts then, you have a fuel delivery problem.

Thanks SlowPoke. Ended up being a stuck Choke. The bike is running, but wont stay running without the Choke on. Carb prob.?

If it runs with the choke on and at higher revs, but won't idle, then either the pilot jets are clogged or the pilot mixture screws are adjusted wrong. Be super extra careful adjusting the mixture screws. If you tighten them too much, the tips will break off in the passageway and the carb is ruined. Don't ask how I know this.
