92 F2 Battery Issues Need Help!!
Ok, I have a 1992 CBR 600 F2, When I first bought the bike everything ran fine and then all of a sudden the battery died. I charged the battery everything ran fine for a while anyways. I was riding pretty hard and as I started to slow immediately after I pulled in the cluth the bike shut off, and trying to restart got nothing, not even enough power to run any sort of light. I recharged the battery again, just to get it to my shop it ran fine the whole time. Figured I would go out and ride and the same thing happened, riding hard and then pull the cluth and bike shus off. I need help on what is causing this issue and what I need to replace. Many people are telling me all different things (r/r, stator, magnito, battery) I'm not super bike savy, so any advice would be appreciated.
My money is on your reg, it's the most likely thing, as it's a common problem with the F2's & F3's. When my reg went, I went out a bought a new battery (just like many owners have done), a day's riding later & it was flat again. The fact that you have to charge your battery tells me that your reg to is cactus.
If you can't test it yourself, have it checked at the shop, make sure the bike has been running for a while so that the reg has a chance to get hot, overheat (& then not work) before checking it with a volt meter. Some reg's just stop working, others at 1st have an intermittent fail rate.

+1 - you're describing all the textbook symptoms of a failed R\R.
