Have you checked the charging system output?

The regulator/rectifier and burned wiring is a fairly common failure.

Welcome to the forum Ricky....

Thanks for that demon but how do I check the regulator/rectifier and would the bike still run with out this iv ran the bike with it on and off had a voltage meter the battery and both times it showed 11.6 then went to 11.3 volts when the lights was on also could this be a stator problem as well

G'Day Ricky and welcome to the forum.

Your problem could be a number of issues, so it is best to work through them methodically.

See the thread on Regulator/rectifiers > Link here https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-1000f-hurricane-38/r-r-139522/ < and there is a link in there to a PDF on systematically working through electrical/charging issues. I think it is in Naga-Thai's post.

Oh, and swing by the Hurricane board and say hi! We're here to help.

Cheers, SB

PS Don't forget to..........
