Hi , first of all make sure you have petrol feeding the carbs, if your bike has been sitting for a period of time the filter could be clogged up, have a look in the tank to see if there's any debris in the bottom of the tank, setting up an auxiliary tank with a direct feed to the carbs is useful, they can be bought for cheap, good for synching the carbs, have a look at page 2-11 and make sure vacuum and vent tubes are not blocked

Hello I have verified that petrol is feeding into the carbs as there was present petrol within the fuel tube/vacuum lines when I disassembled them, they did not seem to be clogged either. Now the carbs do look dirty but I don't feel like this would be the issue for the bike not starting. Im going to rest but will test the spark plugs later tonight. Something worth noting though it seems 2 vacuum lines are missing from the carburetor region? I have circled them on the picture below, whats suppose to go here? Thanks again for the manual it is very helpful!

Hi , the two pipes your showing are the over flow/air vent pipes , there should be pipes connected to them and out to atmosphere, did you say you had petrol in the vacuum pipe,as that should be the fuel line to the carbs and the other two are the vent and drain pipes

Carbs are still on my list of suspects. Bikes that sit tend to get gummed up which can cause hard starts, rough idle, and stalling/lack of power. If you've gone this far, you can probably justify pulling them off and opening them up for a peek. It's not a bad job, maybe a couple hours to clean all four thoroughly. If not, the 'poor man's' method is fresh gas with a healthy dose of seafoam/octane booster. It should start easier, and running for a bit will help to clear away some of the gunk. As Cabaret says, a temporary tank is super handy for this

A vacuum leak could also be causing havoc, or else maybe a bad spark like you say. Could even be bad gas. Happens a lot this time of year, especially with all the ethanol blends they jam down our throats these days

I know it's a new battery, but you still want to keep an eye on the voltage, especially if it's been cranking a lot
