I want to be able to make my 3rd eye switch back and forth between red and stock white. i am pretty good at wiring and all that. The question i have is does anyone know of 1 switch i can use to toggle between the two hots? Is there a way i can use just 1 switch i dont want to have 2 switches if i dont have too.

 

If you always want one or the other on then you need a SPDT Switch = Single Pole, Double Throw switch.

 

Yes that is exactly what i am looking for. constant power to one or the other. Thanks
