1988 CBR600F clicking
Hello, I’m new to this forum but not new to bikes.
I’ve just bought an ‘89 CBR600f it’s got fresh fuel and new battery but the starter solenoid is just clicking. 1 strong click every time I push the start button. When I bridge the to posts the bike turns over happily but doesn’t start.
the bike has been parked up undercover for a few years. I’ve ordered a new solenoid is there anything else it could be whilst I’m waiting for that to arrive.
thanks
T.

Hi Tiredout welcome,
Please take a moment and pop over to the new member area to introduce yourself to the forum.
Where are you from, how long have you been on two wheels, what bikes do you have etc.
We also love pictures.
If the bike has been sat for a few years, I would also suspect that you will need to remove and clean the carbs as they will almost certainly have 'gummed' up with bad fuel.
You will also probably need new tyres as they will be past their best.
Cheers
Al
