I just did the plugs and a valve adjustment on my cbr, I also sync'd the throttle body. Now I'm not sure if I did the sync properly. I got all the cylinders even at idle and tried to find a reasonable balance between idle and the higher rpm range. Should I have just sync'd it at idle and not the higher rpm range? I found at a level 3,000 rpm one of the cylinders would completely loose its fluid. I was able to balance this out fairly well. I just wasn't sure if this was an "idle only adjustment"? I saw a site where a guy was balancing between ranges so that's why I went that route. Any ideas? Thanks!

 

I've always just synced at idle and had no issues so I would recommend sticking to that. If you have to adjust your plates to sync at a higher rpm it will throw off the sync at idle.

 

That's why I found "middle ground" between idle and higher rpm. Before I did it the sync was way off at both idle and higher rpm. You have to give a little on each end but you can get it fairly close if you play with it enough. I just wasn't sure if there is any gain to doing it this way and if anyone else has also.
