Default 05 CBR1000RR Hard To Start Mil 35

I wanted to get some input on this situation at hand.. I just got an 05 cbr1000rr and it has a few issues. First off when starting the bike I have to give it some gas to get it started. If it is not revved high enough it will cut out again. After it is started I will get up to around 45 (not sure about rpms) and then my MIL light comes on and stays on. I went ahead and checked the code and I got several codes but I wasn't sure if they were old codes or not. I recorded them and reset the system and drove it again. After I drove it around for about 5 minutes the MIL Light came back on and stayed on. So I got the new code and it is MIL 35 (EGCV code). I haven't looked into this yet cus it got dark outside before I could check it. The question I have is does the EGCV cause it to be hard to start. Also the exhaust smells rich (can smell gas)... would the EGCV cause this as well or am I looking at a new problem. The bike also sounds like it putting....

Thanks in advance.

Does the bike have the stock exhaust? If so, there's a good chance who over sold it put the stock exhaust back on after removing an aftermarket exhaust. Make sure the exhaust flapper valve is operating correctly. Also, try to adjust your idle speed up by the idle adjust screw on the left hand side, close to where your knee would be.

Yea the bike does have the stock exhaust.. I will check the exhaust flapper valve today and let you know. What am I looking for when I am adjusting the idle speed? Like am I looking for the rpms to go up a little? If so how much? Or is it just so it wont cut out after it is started?

Default ServoMotor

Okay so i checked out the servo motor and flapper. Findings: The servo motor does not seem to be working. So I went ahead and took off the motor and did some test and it looks like the motor works but it is not getting power from the ecu... I was checking the output of the 6 pin cable and I wasn't getting any power. I am not sure if I was testing the right wires cus it was getting dark but I will recheck them again tomorrow. What is the chance that the ECU is bad? What else can I check?

For the servo motor.. My service manual says to test the resistance between
Connection: YellowIred - Green/orange
Standard : 5 kQ
Connection: Light green/pink - Green/orange
Standard: 0 - 5 kQ
Which one do I go off of? I have a yellow/red - green and the resistance is 3.64 is this good or bad? Should it be at 5?
