Default 05 1000RR newbie advice

I just picked up an 05 cbr 1000rr. I haven't ridden in probly 12 years so I'm back at square one. The bike has 38k miles on it and per PO has been sitting for about a year. Bike starts and runs great. Due to not knowing what maintenance was done and the fact that it's been sitting I'll go through and change the oil, coolant and brake fluids. I replaced the batter which was bad. I'm also going to clean and lube the chain. Is there anything else I should do before I begin riding this thing? It has a power commander 3 with a micron slip on and k&n air filter. I appreciate any helpful input. Thanks ahead of time

I would pull the wheels off and slop a little grease on the axles. I would also lube the rear suspension pivot points. How much meat do the brake pads have left? I would also make sure the floating brake rotor buttons can be turned, pinched between thumb and finger.

I might have the valves and plugs looked at. Since it's been sitting a year (as mine also was sitting) take a look at the fuel tank. Mine had significant rust in it from the ethanol based joke the EPA calls gasoline. Flush all that stuff out.

I'll definitely grease those up. Brake pads look ok but not sure what rotor buttons are.
