trouble w/signature image

I keep trying to place an image from photobucket as my signature. I resize to 160X120 on photobucket. I place the url in my profile and it keeps posting as the original picture size(which is over the500X250 max. size) what am i doing wrong.

dont know that you are doing wrong. Try resizing before uploading to photobucket. I dont know what photo editing software you are using, if you have something use that. If not & u are on XP go here http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx and download the Image Resizer, resize it. then try again. Hope that helps some.

Yer ...I think like Ebinz said ...re size the bugger to what ever you want before uploading it to photo Bucket...

note: Signature images or banners can be up around the 700X 100 px ..with no prob ...
