Carburettors
I have a honda CBR 400 RR NC23 my frame number says its a 98 model if i put it into google… the white blue nd Red fairing model
i have NC29 carbs it originally didn’t fit because of the thing on the side that rotates the butterflies dont know what its called,, so i grinded off the bolt socket, but just enough to fit in the frame not to the bone of the carb just that little bolt P.P sticking out both are ky2 engines if im right. Can i use the nc29 carburettors on my nc23 it does fit my intake rubbers easily… my original carb i still have but i can find parts and i can’t afford it, i do not have a fuel pump but i do have a fuel cutoff relay. Everything is ready and right to start if i swing and spray deodorant it starts but im struggling to start with the carbs i did get a back fire with the nc29 carbs and i do get some sounds of it wanting to start.. so my question is can i use the 29 carbs on my nc23. Ive been working on this bike for almost 4 years now i just want to get it done and enjoy the bike and get it out of retirement..and i dont want to but a carb kit for it if i cant use it.. but she wants to start my solenoid messes around so month end ill replace it and my spark plugs are the CR9E but the CR8E are warmer may that also be why she does not want to start because of the cold spark?
