Well you got that one out of the way. Look into some leathers, two piece suit if you like so you can ride leather pants and mesh jacket when its hot.

I didn't think I was going that fast around a corner but the front tire came off the road mid way through the turn
Slippery road? Didn't lean hard enough? Gravel?

Good to hear you are OK. Bike parts are alot cheaper than body parts.

I put sliders on my bike pretty much as soon as i got it but those weren't even touched.

Now that I think about it I am pretty sure I wasn't looking through the turn (I saw my front tire go off the road so I couldn't have been looking in the right direction ). I don't remember falling very far so I'll say I was leaning over enough.

Over all I'd say it was speed though, I took it slow going right so I figured I could get on it turning left.

My shoulder is absolutely killing me but the swelling in my knee is almost completely gone. If I could shift gears I'd be riding today.
