Won't Start, Need Help!
Ok, I came out to start her up today, '01 F4i, and she wont fire... I did start her up and ride her just a couple a days ago and she ran fine, but today she cranked over and over but didn't fire... It has been quite cold out, but wouldn't she still give signs of life even though it was cold? She didnt give the slightest sound of even wanting to start. What should I do? Can my plugs go bad that quick? Need Help! Thanks in advance.

does "but wouldn't she still give signs of life" mean that you didn't hear the fuel pump priming? If so... it could be the same problem as I had.
First check the tip sensor... it's a black box with an arrow pointing up on it. It's behind your guages. Make sure the plugs and wires are all good.
If it still doesn't work... make sure you check all your ground wires. If the fuel pump isn't priming, it could be a damaged ground wire and it's in an area that leads to the pump. That's why it's not priming. This is what happened to my bike. Had to replace a ground wire in the bank angle area or something.

No, the fuel pump still primes every time I switch the ignition on, the "wouldn't she still give signs of life?" means that it kept cranking and cranking but nothing would would even try to fire... Thanks for the reply though. I just ran out of ideas. I rode it fine a couple days ago, and all of a sudden this happened...

Ok, I took the battery out to give it a quick charge, hooked it back up, and it started. After that I thought everything was just peachy. I let it idle until it reached about 165 degrees and gave it a couple quick revs. After it came back down to idle RPM's, it just died. I tried turning it back over, but it wont fire again. Would the not starting again have anything to do with all the previous times Ive tried turning it over?
