Default Won't start

Hi all, Hope someone can help me. My son crashed his F4i a few days ago, scratched up a bit and bent pipe but other than that seems to be ok. Anyway, I rode it home from the TC site, started right up no prob, even started a couple times since then. Problem is I started to take it apart , (ie: the fairings) to check things out. Found a blown fuse caused the instruments not to function, but now trying to start it just doesn't. Turns the starter just fine over and over but no fire. I'm new to working on these bikes, actually this is the first one. Anyone know where I might start to look for what's causing this issue. Like I said it started and ran just fine a couple days ago. Thanks for any help.

Never mind. Shoulda read some posts first. Bank angle sensor! HUH! Guess you got to have your front fairing installed to run it. Thanks anyway. Paul

Yup, common problem that people forget about - gotta make sure the headlight, or at least the bank angle sensor is connected when trying to start the bike!

Angry Similar problem at first

I had the same problem. I removed my fairings and installed some parts. After I put them back, connected the two smaller harness from the front fairing, but failed to connect the main harness. Attempted to start it multiple times before realizing the fuel pump was not engaging. Before I realized the mistake I killed the battery. Recharged the battery and connected the main harness, but the bike still will not turn over. I have gotten to the point where it starts to rumble through the exhaust, but will not stay turned over. I have tried this multiple times and keep having to charge the battery. Im thinking now it is bad gas, but over the winter I have started it 3 times. I did not install anything to do with electrical or related to the running of the bike. I installed frame sliders. So I am thinking it is the gas or now spark plugs. Could I have caused other damage that I am not thinking of?
