I have a 2002F45 600. I charged my battery the bike started. I ran it for a while then I turned it off. 2 weeks later I went to start the bike again and the battery was dead. I recharged and the bike won’t start. I can hear the fuel pump prime and I get a clicking noise from the starter switch relay. I purchased a new battery and just installed a new starter relay and it stilll won’t start. Any suggestions?

 

First, stop throwing parts at the problem unitl you know what the problem is - you'll get lost in all the changes.

If the starter won't turn then the most likely problem is the battery - even a new battery can be bad, so you need to test with a known good battery - you can try jumping it from a car battery if you have a car handy.

The other thing it could be is the motor is hydrolocked with fuel - you might have a bad injector that's filled up a cylinder, so you can try pulling the plugs and see if it spins then.
