Will a few leds kill my battery if directly wired?

Can you wire it inconjunction with your brake light? That way when you hit the brakes it triggers the LEDs too? That might be cool.

Yep, watch the video, that's exactly what it does. It does the knight rider thing as a running light and then does a slow strobe when you hit your brakes. After about 6 seconds it stops strobing and is just a constant red light until you let off your brakes again.

What I meant was, it would cool if it were extinguished until you hit the brakes.

I think you can just cap off the running wire light. Go to the website, I think I saw different wiring options on there somewhere. But there are probably cheaper options if that's all that you want. I've seen lots of add-on tailights online. Even some that are wireless and go on the back of your helmet
