Default Whinning noise from front wheel when riding.

When i ride, after a while, i hear a whinning noise coming from the front. it comes and goes, but i'm wondering what this is? if it the rim thats bent or the forks? it sounds like its coming fromt he tires or something over there. its kinda annoying to hear when riding. anyone have some suggestions or ideas what this mite be?

Have you checked your brake pads and rotor in the front?

Check your front tire pressure, if it is too low the tire will start to rub on the fender and if you go too long it will warp the front fender. I usually run mine just under 40psi when two-up and it's warm outside.

i have never heard of this rubbing on the fender thing. it should always clear it...at the track, sometimes tire pressures get down to 22 PSI with some race tire. 40PSI is too high if you're doing hardcore canyon...you better check your fender mang...i think you've installed it incorrectly.

as said before, check your pads...if possible, put the bike on stands and spin the front wheel.
