I forgot to mention, the Pitbull universal stand comes with both spool fittings and padded mounts, so you can lift from the bottom of the swingarm to get the wheel off.

a Vortex stand is what I have. It works great. I use the swing arm pads with no problem.

cost was $100. Right in between pitbull($165) and T-rex ($80)

 

I have the $40 HarborFreight stand. It has adjustable padded lift supports and dual wheels on each side. It works, and costs less than half most other stands. For another $10 you can get the spool style lift supports.

 

I use a couple of milk crates compliments of my local 7-11.
