WHAT THE EFFIN EF!?!?!! man somebody please help me
ok... everythings all good. i recharged the battery and everything is all good. but when we charged it, it wouldnt go over 75 on the little thingy.. so do you think a new battery is what i need or the alternator (i know bikes dont have one but you know what i mean, i just dont know the name of it)
At first it sounded like you got a wire grounded and it would feed through your front harness. BUT the other stuff you said sounded like the EXACT SAME problem I had. It would crank, sputter/cut out, lights work then wouldn't, starter would just click. I thought my battery was weak too so when I went to put it on charge I found the positive cable loose! Clean your battery connections good and charge your battery too. If the battery is not getting a good conection then you could be getting less voltages or varying voltages.
thanks alot guys. first ill try to clean the connectors and make sure they are tight and see how that goes. but if the charger doesnt go over 75 does that mean i need a new battery?
Yeah if your battery is losing that much of its charge just sitting overnight their is definitely something wrong with it and it needs to be replaced.
i just charged the battery and took it for a ride figuring that it would charge while i was riding... but then it turned off maybe 20 min later. could this just be a loose wire or could i possibly still need a new battery? or both?
