That sucks. I installed flush mounts on mine without a problem other than a short in one of the wires from the manufacturer which a little heat shrink fixed. Anyway, i hope you can correct the error.

Complete everything, another engine and changed tensioner, exhaust studs, levers, brakes, all ***** fork seals, yada yada.. figured out a brake issue by accident. goofed up a swingarm seal.. extra led turn signal strips under the legs, sorted out coolant leak from shippers shipping engine UPSIDE DOWN! wtf! (crushed thermostat housing and bent bolts). But planning on miles to ride before it gets cold. Already booked about 50 local to test the waters.

Broke 30k on the clock on my way back from work yesterday. Windy and rainy, but enjoyable.

After a couple nights of procrastination which I excel at, I finally decided to sit down and install the APE Manual Cam Chain Tensioner. Well as luck would have it and due to the extreme angle/proximity to the frame of the damn thing I don't have the right tools for the job. I'm short a couple 1/4" special drive sockets I need which I can pick up at the shop today, but so I wouldn't leave the garage totally dejected I went ahead and slapped the new low mount exhaust on.

All in all I think it actually looks better than the high mount it replaced, but maybe it's just because it is shinier than the 11 year old can that came off

Bolted on a new PUIG winsdscreen last week...

came close to maxing out the revs but ran out of bridge.. took that rough road turn super fast, felt the suspension lift in the middle of the chicane. hugged my f4i. oh and we left another bike in the dust at a light, mwahaha. he started it i just gave her throttle.
