Weird braking incident?
On my way to class (Miami University Ohio) I was coming to a light that turned red and obviously I braked and when I did so my front wheel felt like it might of locked up or something.. it swayed left and right real fast and I swerved a little (still stayed in my lane). this has never happened in the 4k miles ive ridden my f4i. It was just a normal stop, not very sudden or anything not very hard braking. at the light I hopped off my bike for a second to check everything out and it looked normal..
Im about to ride home from class and hopefully it doesnt happen again.. just wondering what it could be. last week I replaced my front tire and bled the brake lines/ added new fluid. my brakes have been better than ever since then, but I also notice when in neutral and Im pushing it the front brakes slightly rub all the time. not sure whats going on and if its dangerous I dont want to ride without fixing.. I want to be able to brake hard if I ever have to! and not lock them up.. any insight ?

You may have got on some slippery pavement or paint. Try adjusting the brake lever down to 1 and using less fingers to grab it. I use 2 most of the time.
that happened to me before. on mine it was a siezed caliper piston problem. to check it i put the front tire off the ground and gave it a real, real hard spin. it would not even complete one full rotation. its supose to be turning at least 1.5 to 2 full rotations. just my experiance. only way i can describe it is, at the handle bars it was kinda giving me a light head shaking, slightly back and forth on hard braking.
I didnt notice anything in the road.. and I was in the middle of my lane so no paint.. I could spin the tire fine when it was lifted up. (it resisted a little because the brakes rub) but I could still rotate it several times on one spin. it hasnt done it again. but I havnt had to brake hard yet. I dont wanna find out the hard way... Ive been engine braking a lot so i wont have to use the brakes as much. it mightve been just a single fluke incident.. just making sure its not gonna kill me
The middle of the lane is where the oil is from cars. Don't ride there. Pick a side...
Not to mention that if there is a loose nail on the road, it will most likely be where car tires haven't been to pick it up. But that's just a theory of mine.

yup, middle of the lane is bad news, if its a busy intersection it can get really bad.
so don't brake in it and careful putting your foot down in it.
this should of been in your motorcycle handbook for the endorsement test.
