Default Up shifting w/o clutch

Does it hurt anything to upshift without using the clutch?

All that I have ever read has said its fine to up shift w/o the clutch. From what I understand the gears are set up so that they mesh up shifting w/o the clutch just fine.

I shift like that if I am accelerating really quickly.

No problems if you do it correctly.

I, like Exitwounds, usually only do it under heavy acceleration.

it wont hurt anything, the trans is a constant mesh type so the gears are always spinning or something like that. i up shift and down shift all the time not using the clutch and ive never had a problem i have 30,000 miles on my bike
