To be safe, I would call the city police, or sheriffs, and maybe the dmv. I've heard ignorance is no excuse for the law...too bad, or I'd always have an excuse!

I always thought the right side pegs would be impossible to see from behind due to the exhaust. Is this the case?

Taxachusetts allows red or amber for rear turns, as long as they are at least16 inches apart.

I haven't checked for sure but I think my high mount exhaust makes it possible to see it. Not sure about the stock ones.

In Good ol' Mass only the fronts have to be 16 inches apart. The rears can be as close as 9 inches together. I can't wait to take a saw to the heiney of my bike!
