Turn signals in passenger footpegs

Guys I am new here and searched around a bit on the internet and can't find the info I am looking for, please help. I saw a guy on a bike like mine (F4i) that had his turn signals integrated into his rear footpegs. Since I need the passenger footpegs for my gf (I know, what a gentleman) I wondered if anyone knew where I could find them. As long as they are legal of course.

Search LED footpegs and all will be answered.

you can find them on www.tripageled.com you have to navigate to the LED section because it is a web page with frames....a direct link if you're impatient is http://www.tripageled.com/PAGES/hondaother.htm#LEDPEGS

they do good work, i had my calipers powdered with them and they'll be doing my pegs as well...i am too lazy to do it myself and i don't have a drill press....sooo....

tripleageled is good if you dont wanna do it yaself. Serveral ppl on here have done it themselves me included:D About $20 and a hour of ya time to do, if you're mechanically inclined enuff too that is. And I just used a cordless drill sitting here at my desk. I order a bunch of LEDs and resistors and did the soldering n wiring myself too. You can buy the LEDs at your local Advanced Auto or Auotzone too.

Thanks Playfulgod, think I will try it myself. If anyone has any do-it-yourself mods that they wouldn't mind sharing, by all means.

I doubt if those are legal though... (there is a spec for turn signals, including how far apart they should be spaced etc... no wonder stock ones suck) but then most mods are not legal in many states, including louder exhausts, PC3s (they have now introduced street legal ones) etc...
neednt stop you from going ahead with those cool LED sigs. :P

As long as the LED's facing backwards are either Red (for brake lights) or amber/white (blinkers) you are fine in terms of legality in MOST locations. The issue with spacing is a MINIMUM distance, and in most states it is 9 inches... meaning as long as they are atleast 9 inches apart, and the passenger pegs certainly are, you are golden. When you start messing around with colors is when you get in trouble
