Lately I have noticed that when turn my bike on...I have to sit there for a good 10 seconds before I can press the starter button to start the bike. If I press the starter button before the 10 seconds...nothing happens..my lights turn off...

What can cause this problem? cause usually I just turn the bike on..hear the fuel pump prime and press the starter and it starts right up.

any help is appreciated

 

I'd say if it was inconsistent then it probably is a connection problem so check them all out. If it is consistent than I'd take it in to the shop. Sounds a bit like a computer issue.
