I wouldn't do the "hack" job. Because that's exactly what it looks like. Spend the $100 on the competition werkes fender eliminator. You won't regret it.

my plate is moved up as far as possible under the tailight. i need to modify my plate so i can easily get to the seat lock. it looks pretty clean and its free[sm=bounceybounce.gif]

thanks stinger. the web site lists them up until 2004, my ride is a 2005. will a 2004 work?

Here's a pic of how I did it. Now, it's kind of a ghetto rig, but at the time nobody had an '06 undertail in blue. I just ordered one and am expecting it soon. I also cut a hole in the plate for key access. The two red reflectors are the plate mounts and I also wired in an LED light for the plate light.

I have the 06' in blue as well. Would you post the link to who you bought the blue undertail from?

I got it from these guys: http://www.rumble-store.com/ My order is still in their paint shop and they're taking their sweet time too.
