If you didn't get a report at the time of the accident it's not going to do you jack now.

ALWAYS get a report at the time of the accident. If possible do not move anything until after the officer gets to the scene.

 

Yea, i made the mistake of moving in a parkin lot when a guy backed into my Explorer and now I still got a big *** dent in the passenger side door because he denied everything. When I find him, Im going to throw paint stripped on his truck

 

Not to worry, police report was down within the legal time. (Here in Ontario, Canada, police are only called to the scene undre certain circumstances eg. DUI, bodily injury, etc). We take a vehicle to a "Reporting Centre" within 48 hours, and fill-out a form.
Suprisingly, this system works out well... but not sure what happens when two party's statements differ greatly.

Anyways, he knows he hit it. He accepts that. But he thinks I'm scamming because the estimate is about $4000+ (CDN) to fix it up, and he still thinks the bike "was just TIPPED OVER!". Idiot.

Anyways, I've gone through the ins co. , who seem to want to write it off!! SH-T!
Spoke to my rep, and since I'm not at fault (and wasn't even on the bike!), my premium stays as is.
guess that's good news

 

theres not even a word to describe how mad i would be if the guy started to take off and i watched the entire thing happen! holy crap i would be on his *** so damn quick!
