Default Time to start modding. . .

Quick question for you guys. I want to start putting some little stuff on my bike here and there, and the first thing I was thinking of putting was a fender eliminator.

Now here's the problem.. I've never done anything to bikes before (yeah I know isn't it sad) so where's a good place to buy one and do they come with instructions. I'm not a stupid person I can put it together if I get it proably but it'll take some time haha.

They all come with **** poor instructions. They pretty much say to cut this, hack that, attempt to put this here and something there. Really don't do anything for you. I've never installed one on and F4i but on my 929 all you have to do it cut the fender/mud gaurd thing off enough so that you can wedge the undertail between the two sides of the rear fairing. I had to cut alot of mine to make it fit.

Pimpbike.com (they are on eBay too) has a nice one that allows you to use the stock taillight too. Looks real nice and veryeasy to install. Also comes with good instructions.

I put a competition werks fender eliminater on my 2001. I had to remove the entire tail section off of the subframe to put it on though. Have you thought about getting a color matched undertail for a bit more of a custome look rather than just the eliminater kit?
