Ya well after I sold my F4i I was thinking about just getting me a bike just to ride like "normal" people. Something with some rumble and that I think looks good to me.
Im debating between a Buell or an RC51
This is a 2005 Buell XB9sx





And the RC51.

I like the way both of them looks and I have ridden them both. The RC51 will keep me in the sport bike riding position that always hurts my back after so long but has the sound and feel that I love.

The Buell sets me a little straighter up so its easier on myback and still has the sound I love but I wont be taking any corners like I did with the RC51.

I do love how both of them look although one is more streetfighter and the other more sport bike.


If anyone has had some good hours on the Buell could you tell me what you thought of it? I have only ridden the Buell about 2 miles or so down the road. It was a buddy of mine and he was just letting me put around on it a little bit for fun.

 

How big is the engine on the Buell? I rode one and didnt like the handling the power and how the throttle felt. The bike is too small and too loose, I felt like I had no control of the power. The sportbike is more solid, the suspension is tighter and more feeling of control. If you don't like leaning forward, go with a cruiser. But the Buell is not a bike for me.

 

Havn't ridden either, but on looks alone I'd go with the Buell. The RC51 looks dated. I know the honda will be quicker and handle better than the XB, but I love the look of that Buell. Me personally, I'd take the Aprilia Shiver over both of them.
