i sold my f4 sat and thinking of getting a 929 i rode a 2001 model with 5200 miles the man wants 6grand for it, is that a good price? and what are some likes anddislikes on the 929?

 

I just saw 1 in a local bike shop here that's bout what their askin.

Hey i was just going to let you know i have a 2001 Honda CBR 929 RR with 2541 miles on it, i did have it on ebay but 2 times had fake bidders so im not going to be using ebay again unless she doesnt sell locally soon, im asking 5500.00 for mine, it has been down once in a parking lot which scratched a fender but was touched up looks pretty good , it has lots of extra's, carbon fiber brake lever and clutch lever, also a brand new battery one week old w/ reciept,has frame slider's, been lowered by an inch, back seat and back seat cowl comes with both, has been mechanically takin car of very well , cosmetic looks very well, if you were to replace thatmidright fairing or have it repaited and stickered it would be a flawless bike , there is honestly nothingwrong with it, i just am not a biker im a drag racer just not my thing anymore,get alot of complements on the bike when i take it out of the trailer,so she is always in an enclosed area, if you would like pictures give me an email address and ill send them all, I am located in DesMoines, IA , just let me know what you think...

Seems a little high unless it has some nice extras, (exhust, finished wheels, chrome/carbon stuff, etc.) but being almost summer your might have a hard time talking them down. Good luck!

 

if the bike has been well taken care of,and doesent look like its been stunted on then thats not a bad price...out here in cali it would go very fast

 

well the bike is in mint condition not a scratch on it, it has a micron cf slip-on and one tooth down front sprocket and a 0gravity screen and the rest is stock but like i said its is in mint condition probly the cleanist 929 ive seen

bro u had a f4 which is a great bike,i wouldent turn down the 929.my first bike was a f4
when i got rid of it i got a ninja,and man did i miss riding a honda.929 has that comftable
solid fealling just like the f4 and most all hondas...ck for the obvios problems and if there are none throw down 5k cash and see what the seller says..if its as nice as u say i would regret not getting it compared to other bikes in that price range...guys are iether kepping the 929 or selling ones that have been rode hard and put away broke so finding clean title mint cond.929"s are only going to get harder.good buying.
