thinkin of upgrading to an f4i
Hi all, there are some deals around my area for 2006 f4i's. I rather dig the blue, and I am not a new rider.
I am thinking of upgrading to this bike, but I am curious if it might be too much bike for me, and I wanted to know how hard it would be to maintain this bike since Honda is not going to be making it anymore.
I know that Honda is putting all their development into the RR, so would it be difficult in the future for parts for the f4i? What about maintenance.
Any owners out there please chime in.
I am currently riding a 2006 Kawa 500r (EX500).
Thanks,

I am not here looking for justification for my possible purchase, I am just amazed how comfortable it is for me, and there are deals around my area for these 2006's cause they're trying to get rid of them...
Feels like win win...

You wont have any problem getting parts for an '06 F4i. I can still buy partsall day long for my 01 F4i.
it is a very popular bike, and the aftermarket for it is strong

I agree, my 02 F4i is my first bike. Many people said spend 1000-1500 on a crappy starter bike for a yr or so then get an F4i. I felt like that would be a waste of money so i went right for the F4i. I have only put 100 miles on it so far, but first time i got on it was a little scary and very different from anything ive ever done, but so far so good. They have a quick learning curve if your careful. I am also 215lbs so a 500 may have been a bit too small.
