Tapping noise while decelerating

RE: Tapping noise while decelerating
not to be rude or anything but i have a feeling you're just a little tooparanoid. Yes, i hear a slight noise when i let the clutch out in neutral too, but its very slight and happens on all vehicles i own. you may have some valve tapping but thats little concern in my opinion. And the cctl is probably your main culprit which also isn't that serious. and the neutral clutch noise is nothing other than what its supposed to do. relax bro... you're fine

I think you should take any noise seriously as it's usually a problem in my experience, but check your drive train wear before digging into your clutch... I replaced my sprockets and chain after hearing some noise that I thoght was my clutch and it's gone now.

I agree that many noises may very well be problems, however there are some sounds that come from engines that are just normal. its a bunch of metal parts rubbing together, its not gonna be silent. This is a racebike, not a benz. Regardless, you say you have a little over 3k miles on the bike so i think you'll be alright. If you are really concerned than take it to a dealer, its hard for us to hear what you are talking about. Cheers
