RE: Taillight Disassembly
yeah, that g35 light is nice. Anyway, we basically have the same idea, but youre converting the whole thing to LEDs and Im just adding LED signals and keeping the stock brake light bulbs. But yeah, Id probably just buy a spare taillight and see if you cant open it up, I dont think they should be that hard to open.

I took mine apart. i belive i did 10-15 min at like 275deg. were some gloves cause it will be hot. use a 2 small screwdrivers slip them in under the tabs. and work one side out. swithch the scred drivers to the other side. this stuff is STICKY!! you have to pull kinda hard.

RE: Taillight Disassembly
Guys,
Got it open. The issue seemed to be using a standard oven vs a toaster oven. I originally used a toaster oven because its a lot smaller, thinking I'd save a little power Obviously that didn't work, so I used the standard oven, 250 deg for 5-ish minutes and the glue became soft enough to pry off. It was everywhere, and still sticky but it did come off. I do have a spare on there right now (aclear lensstandard bulb), and in the end what I want to do is haveclear lens because the LED's are clear when they are off and I think the look would be cleaner. If anyone has a random clear lens laying around, I'd be willing to buy it. I'll keep ya guys updated on the LED project.
