I sent you the link, Tom.
If you have a sync tool, I can send you a link on how to do that, too. (or give you pointers if you need help)

I recently synchronized mine and without the proper tool you can't even get them close. I used a Morgan carbtune, a truly great tool. Just my $.02.

Any idea what a shop might charge to sync them, maybe that would be cheaper than me going out and getting the tool.

Shops seem to charge quite a bit for everything. You can ask around, or if you know a guy who has one (another rider), you can maybe borrow one.
When I asked a local shop how much it would be, it was the same price as just buying a morgan carbtune pro... so now I have one for the future.
The carbtune was $100 from morgan.
Found here: Morgan Carbtune
Excellent product...

Do a search for "carb sync" or "carburetor synchronizer" on fleabay. You will find ones with four gauges or ones that use mercury sticks. Here's a mercury one for less than $50: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Carb-...motiveQ5fTools

Hmmmmmmmm- "bottle of mercury"
Do you have to fill the tubes yourself ?
It's academic as he won't post them outside the US.
Ah, well, good option at $38 tho'

Yeah I thought that was a bit amateur . If your gonna go that way , I'd rather go for Blue Beards' home brew version , at least it's only going to cost a couple of bucks

Though you could have great fun playing with the mercury
