I have an 02 model with a fender eliminator. The wiring in the back has been redone and they have eliminated the plug for the liscence plate light. I was told I can just splice the light into the break lights. When I tried to do that I got no light on my license plate and now the break light blinks as if it were turning. Does anyone have any clue as to why this is happening. If you need more info about the situation please reply and I will let you know.

foxens, have you checked your ground wire? If you have a loose connection that can cause it to blink or not work at all.
