Default 99 Honda CBR 600 Tail Light Problems. Please Help

I just brought a 99 Honda CBR 600 and the back light doesn't work when I stepped on the brake or pull the front brake lever.

It still works when you start up the bike, it just doesn't light up/brighter up for people to know that your stopping or slowing down. Does anyone know what's the problem??? Thanks ahead of time.

check the bulbs and make sure they werent replaced with single filament bulbs. other than that check fuses and wiring. I dont remember off the top of my head if there is a specific brake light fuse.

Here's an example of a single filament bulb, which has only one filament (twisty part that connects the two sides) in it.

Heres a dual filament bulb, with two filaments in it.

If its a dual filament bulb, one of the filaments may have been broken, or if it's the wrong bulb, it may only have the one filament in it to begin with. You wont know till you take a look
