in tail exhaust...
Chris if I could offer 1 piece of advise. Put the bike on concrete or at least some wood or something under the kickstand. Looks like it got a pretty good lean angle to it on the grass and would hate for it a fall over.
This is good advise for anyone. A few summers back, I came out of a restaurant to find the base of my kickstand sinking, yes sinking, into hot pavement! The bike was at a high lean angle but luckily didn't fall over. Since then, I carry a kickstand-puck to put under the stand.
in the heat of summer unless you rode for more than 30 min. the heat from exhaust wasn't that bad. it will be nice on the cold days i ride, butt heater..lol.. the bad thing is i have to get it dyno tuned some time soon. i played with different maps on my pc3 and got it to run smoother but i am more interested to see if this mod helped or hurt my power... it doesn't feel like it has as much torque, but in higher rpms i think i gained a little.. anyone wanna come over and check and shim my valves?..lol..never done it not really looking forward to it..
i usually only ride back and forth to work so i am on the road maybe 20 min. and when it was 103+ this past summer i didn't ride much.. too hot to enjoy the ride after working all day in the heat...
