here is what the one i made looks like lol idk if ide call it a heat shield or not..



and yea targa is expensive but its factory matched paint which ide assume they probably had to pay a pretty penny for to buy bulk... so to pay it back they have to put a nice price tag on their cowls

psh wheelies duuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....

and yea add 3lbs to the back but thats better than the side... at least the weight is centered

if i could find a good looking seat cowl for around $100 or less i would rather get that since i have a new tail fairing... but if it would cost about the same for seat cowl as it would for race tail i would rather have it all one piece... does that sound stupid?
i figured someone would take this new tail off my hands some time...

update.... i had time today at work so i cut off the chrome tip... i also cut off two inches off of the muffler it sets almost flush with my sub frame now.. all that's left it to heat and bend pipe so the muffler is in the tail and weld new tip on, one that will go down far enough to clear the undertail i still have to build... starting to think about trying to make one out of aluminum sheet...hhmmm...
with the two inches cut off it sounds better, little deeper and louder.. i thought that can was to quit anyway he he he...
